Summary
Funded largely by donations from private donors, the OU College of Dentistry was able to undertake a major multi-phased renovation, for which we provided construction management. The OUHSC building was constructed in 1976 and had remained largely in its original state previous to the remodel.
The brief was to update the building’s facilities to make them suitable for today’s teaching methods and student body, and a floor-by-floor renovation process was undertaken that was driven by the patient-based instructional nature of the programs taught at OUHSC. The renovations also ensured that the building was prepared for future adaptations, advancements, and changes.
The OUHSC Dental Clinical Sciences building remained open and functional throughout the remodeling and construction process.
