Summary
Funded largely by donations from private donors, the OU College of Dentistry was able to undertake a major multi-phased renovation, for which we provided construction management. The OUHSC building was constructed in 1976 and had remained largely in its original state previous to the remodel.
The project brief called for modernizing the building to serve today's teaching methods and student body. Guided by the patient-centered, hands-on nature of OUHSC's programs, the renovation proceeded floor by floor, and it was designed with flexibility in mind so the building can adapt to future changes in education and technology.
The OUHSC Dental Clinical Sciences building remained open and functional throughout the remodeling and construction process.
