Summary
Mustang High School required a complete renovation of their baseball and softball complex which is home to school’s team, the Broncos. The work was financed under a $70M bond issue passed in 2009 and we provided construction management services for the project.
The baseball field required a number of renovations including the installation of a new storm utility drain piping system to the infield, and the installation of artificial turf featuring the Mustang Broncos logo. A new cast-in-place concrete wall was installed for the vinyl backstop pad and netting system to be attached to, and a new pitcher’s mound was formed using Hilltopper mound clay above and below ground level with Hilltopper soil conditioner throughout.
The renovation was completed by the installation of a new cast-in-place concrete wall on the softball field to support the original netting system.
