Summary
We provided project management for the renovation of the Crystal Beach Park Softball Complex, which spans 16 acres and serves the Woodward community of Oklahoma. The complex consists of five separate softball fields – one regulation sized field and four fields used primarily for little league sports.
The five softball fields are positioned around an octagonal shaped concession building that was fully refurbished and includes dressing room facilities and an umpire area.
The ground around the concession building and dugouts is a combination of stained and natural concrete, while the paved parking lot has 150 parking spaces with a larger bus area as well. The state-of-the-art sprinkler system is capable of over 300 psi per field. The soil in the infield areas is a customized mixture with a unique dark red appearance.
