Academic Facility - This renovation and addition includes a new commons area, kitchen, library, academic offices, and classrooms. Special care was taken as the majority of the work took place during the school year and within the confines of the existing building.
Athletics Facility - This project involves a comprehensive, multi-part enhancement and expansion of the athletic facilities. The project was constructed while keeping the building and campus fully operational and in a safe environment. -
Prairie View Elementary is built to serve 600 students on the city’s growing western edge. Located on a 23 acre site, the 78,000 square foot facility has 37 total classrooms. The plan is based around a “pod concept” for each grade level. Each class has its own enclosed classroom, with the classrooms clustered around centralized common pod spaces which can be used for larger group activities, projects, and presentations.

As the result of a substantial bond issue for Hennessey Public Schools, Timberlake Construction was hired as the construction management firm to oversee the expansion of Hennessey High School, as well as renovations to the existing High School, Middle School, and Elementary. Additions at the High School include a new 8,800 square foot building containing the Library and Computer Lab, and Chemistry and Biology classrooms. A 1,156 square foot addition at the Cafeteria provides additional dining capacity and an enlarged and renovated kitchen area. Adjacent to the kitchen, a new Concession Area provides additional food service opportunities.

Timberlake Construction was selected as the Construction Manager for the new Jones High School that was lost to fire in 2007. The new facility provides a comprehensive, state-of-the-art high school environment, rivaling any in the area.

With 102,000 square feet, this $10.3 million school for Kindergarten through 6th grades was a part of Oklahoma City’s MAPS for Kids program.

This $30 million transformation of Mustang High School consisted of the renovation of all existing buildings and construction of 107,000 square feet of new buildings that provide a facility to meet the needs of this growing community. The new addition includes 59 new classrooms, new administrative area, a 21,000 s.f. Student Commons area, a new two-story 11th and 12th Grade Center, a new Library/Media Center, and a new Ninth Grade Center. Other work included the interior renovation and finish work in the existing auditorium, a new kitchen and serving lines, new parking lots and a permanent bus loop.

The stadium has undergone a complete renovation, increasing the seating capacity to 4,000+. Also included are a new press box, restrooms, concessions, ticket booths, parking, and doubling the size of the field house.

With over 25,000 square feet of space the new Okarche High School represents the first phase of an entirely new High School campus. This first phase includes a large commons area and library, along with classrooms and administrative spaces. Specialty classrooms, such as lab space and family & consumer science are also included.

With 1,000 seats and the thrust stage, the performance space has been hailed as the finest in Oklahoma for facilities of this size. Situated adjacent to Weatherford High School, this 48,000 square foot facility was funded by a joint effort between Weatherford Public Schools and the City of Weatherford.

Fourth Hour Center - This 14,000 square foot building is situated to the existing high school football/track stadium and includes locker rooms, showers, restrooms, weight/training rooms and athletic offices.

With approximately 77,000 square feet, West Field is home for approximately 1,200 Kindergarten through 5th Grade students. Amenities include a full-size gym, a completely equipped kitchen, and six concrete-walled safe rooms.

Timberlake was responsible for the simultaneous renovation of Whittier Middle School, and its crosstown twin, Irving, as a part of the District’s 2009 Bond Issue. Both schools were originally constructed as open classroom concepts.
Higher Education

Timberlake Construction was hired as the construction management firm for the interior and exterior renovation of the 962-seat I.W. Young Auditorium at Langston University. The interior has undergone a complete renovation that includes new theatrical and house lighting, ceiling and wall acoustical treatment, a new above ceiling catwalk system, new orchestra pit, new HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and new restrooms. A new elevator has been added along with new paint and carpet throughout.

This 35,000 square foot facility is a comprehensive training and research organization for students, professionals, and first responders in all aspects of evidence collection, preservation, analysis, reporting and testimony.

With accommodation for 72 students in individual and suite-style rooms, the new facility has over 29,000 square feet. A full-service kitchen is located adjacent to the dining hall, which also seats 72. Other spaces include the Heritage Room, Library, and Alumni Meeting Space, a Chapter Lounge for member gatherings, and an individual apartment for the House Mother.
