TIMBERLAKE CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. recently completed a new home for the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Located at 10th and North Broadway, the 18,500 square foot facility offers office and administrative space for staff members, a state-of-the-art conference center with a catering kitchen for community activities and meetings, an indoor Donor Gallery and an outdoor Donor Plaza.
With an elliptical shaped entrance and two-story glass curtain wall, the building was designed to integrate many of the historic qualities of Oklahoma City’s Automobile Alley while introducing a modern day look to the building. The exterior multi-tone red brick with antiqued mortar and tan capstone capture an old style complete with canopy structures hung over the windows providing the appearance of covered walkways along Broadway. Architectural services were provided by Hornbeek- Blatt Architects of Edmond, Okla.,
”The staff at OCCF and many of the Board members have been very impressed with the level of attention to detail that has been given to all aspects of the construction of our new facility. We feel the right TEAM was chosen for this project with Timberlake. We are very anxious to move into our new home” said Nancy B. Anthony, Officer/Assistant Secretary Executive Director, Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
